Air Permit Management Programs at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Tennessee

PAI provides professional services for management of the Fort Campbell Air Quality Program. PAI maintains and/or obtains compliance with applicable federal (including U.S. Army) and state air pollution rules and standards. PAI has performed the following activities under this program:
 
 

Developed the Air Pollutant Source Permitting and Compliance Program Plan for Fort Campbell.
Developed and implemented inspection guidelines and schedules for existing air pollutant sources and sources under construction or modification.
Supported the Army at public hearings on air pollutant source permit application issues.
Conducted inspection of air pollutant sources for compliance.
Reviewed air pollutant source design plans/documents/contracts for compliance status determinations.
Performed air permit fee determinations, compliance audits, and Title V permit application preparation.
Supported the acquisition and utilization of air pollutant monitoring or measurement equipment, or other process products/equipment.
Prepared the Risk Management Plan for prevention of accidental releases of hazardous substances.

Air Compliance for the NASA/Ames Research Center (ARC)

Support Services for the Kennedy Space Center and DOE-Oak Ridge Air Permit Programs
PAI conducted staff personnel audits, record reviews, and on-site surveys to determine sources of air pollutants, ensure compliance with federal and state air pollution control rules and standards, and obtain data required for air permit applications. BACK TO MENU
 
CAA Compliance and Permitting Support for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Albuquerque Operations Office, Kirtland Area Office
PAI assisted DOE in the review and processing of permits required by the CAA and associated federal, state, and local regulations. PAI supported preparation of the Title V operating permit application for submittal to the city of Albuquerque. BACK TO MENU
 
Radon Detection and Database Development at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Tennessee
PAI deployed radon canisters in approximately 2080 buildings at Fort Campbell. PAI developed a database for all deployed canisters, spiked canisters, duplicate canisters, and unopened blank canisters. PAI prepared radon database software specifications and developed and installed a customized user-friendly computer database system at Fort Campbell. BACK TO MENU
